Originally from lush rainforest of Vancouver, Canada, I now live in the high desert of Albuquerque, New Mexico, just off Route 66. An avid flamenco dancer, I’m here because it’s the best place to study flamenco outside of Spain.
All about the art of reinvention, once Covid hit I pivoted from the fashion industry into UX Design. Armed with a background in Visual Design and hand lettering, my experience folded seamlessly into UX.
Previously I worked as a Lead Editorial Stylist at Zulily and Stylist for the size inclusive brand Universal Standard. I studied Visual Design with an emphasis in Image Consulting and later UX Design.

I wasn’t always great at reading sheet music, so I started learning to play by ear. Play me a contemporary song on Spotify and I’ll figure it out on the piano in less than five minutes.
I recently graduated from a UX Design program with CareerFoundry and am celebrating how I learned and grew through the last 15 months!

Writing poetry, including founding the Secret Poetry Collective with a group of six women, half of whom I’ve never met, across the continent. We write our way to freedom on the first Sunday of every month.

A fanny pack which got a facelift lately as a “belt bag” . Back in grade four my fanny pack is where I kept my retainer. Now I’ve upgraded to lipstick.
Me and cats go way back. I’m allergic. Worth it.
Back in 2017 I placed a whole litter of kittens into happy homes.
I have two kitty babies of my own, Max and Ginger. An introvert and an extrovert.
One is the reason people love cats.
The other is the reason people hate cats.
I’m the oldest of five kids so I was forced into given the opportunity to develop leadership from an early age.
5 of the 5 of us homeschooled at some point.
