Nice to meet you, I’m Sarah! Originally from lush rainforest of Vancouver, Canada, I’m a creative who lives in the high desert of Albuquerque, New Mexico, just off Route 66. Let’s do a quick round of get to know you.
I was basically born a cat lady. In 2017 I placed a whole litter of kittens, and am a cat mom to Ginger and Max.
Like any respecting Canadian Asian girl, I took my first piano lesson when I was 3, though since I wasn’t very good at reading sheet music early on, I learned to play by ear. Recently I was recruited by a local film production company to write the score for a short silent film called An Artist’s Story — here’s a snippet!
I’m the oldest of five kids so leadership was something I was forced into given the opportunity to develop early on.
Growing up, dress up was my favorite form of play. Every year, my family throws a big costume party complete with a photo booth. Every year except 2020, for obvious reasons.
